Reg Olson
P. Geol, Phd. (Geology) Former partner in Trigg, Woollett, Olson Consulting Ltd. with extensive U308 experience. Contract geologist and Vice President Exploration to Red Rock Energy working on historical data compilation and interpretation, and overseeing all aspects of ongoing field exploration and drilling. Co-author of the National instrument 43-101 report.
Matthew Tracey
Graduated with B.Sc. (Honors) in Earth Sciences from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador in April 2009. Matthew worked for two summers on multiple uranium prospects and deposits in the Central Mineral Belt region of Labrador with Aurora Energy Resources. This work resulted in an honors geology thesis about the genesis of selected uranium deposits in this region.
Currently, Matthew is attending the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton campus) as a M.Sc. candidate under the supervision of Dr. D. Lentz. Matthew’s M.Sc. thesis is focused primarily on the characterization and genesis of selected vein-type/shear zone-hosted uranium deposits in the Beaverlodge Lake Uranium District at Uranium City, Saskatchewan. His master’s work is being funded in part by Red Rock Energy Resources, the Saskatchewan Geological Survey, and the geology department at the University of New Brunswick; some support is also being provided by the Geological Survey of Canada. He looks forward to working with Red Rock again during the summer 2010. and to the completion of his M.Sc. thesis during mid 2011.
Jason Sciarra
GIS technician. A graduate from the University of Lethbridge, Jason completed his B.Sc. in Geography (GIS concentration) in April of 2007. During his studies, Jason worked at the Alberta Geological Survey/Energy and Utilities Board as a co-op student co-authoring geological maps and datasets gaining experience in the fields of GIS and geology. Jason also has experience in the coal mining industry in southern British Columbia working as summer student in the warehouse, operations and engineering departments.
